Before I got into product design, I worked in educational software development. Throughout the 1990s, I worked at a company called MECC, that, after many mergers and aquisitions, became Mattel Interactive. MECC was a fantastic place to work. The staff was composed of brilliant writers, teachers, artists and programmers focused on the mission of making engaging educational titles.
I was one of the former MECC employees interviewed for this article and was happy to share my perspective of the time I spent there.
